Designing Our Own Stationery
The original shop opened in time for Valentines Day 2003. This small shop provided an outlet for owner Clare Barker, to design & produce her own stationery in addition to selling gifts and arranging small parties & celebrations.
By Christmas 2006 Best Laid Plans had out grown its lovely but cramped home, and so they moved across the road to number 31!
Today, Clare has two designers working with her and continues to produce handmade Wedding & Party stationery.
They offer choices from a portfolio or will work with their clients on a bespoke design. Best Laid Plans also keeps portfolios for larger printing companies for those who want to order straight away!
Wedding and Party Planning
The Wedding & Party planning is organised by a local events management company, FAB! who visit clients at their convenience; either at the shop, or wherever suits.

The new, larger shop is spread over two floors.
Downstairs homes gifts for babies & children; while upstairs is a delight for everything needed for Weddings & Parties.
